| The NSW branch of the Academy is co-ordinated by Lisa Date who is also the National Director of Training for the Wal Scerri Pharmacy Academy. Lisa boasts a 3 generation history in pharmacy with her grandfather practicing as a pharmacist on the Northern Beaches some 70 years ago. Lisa holds a degree in education as well as a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, and has been the NSW Director of Training for the Academy for nearly 8 years.
Sydney city is our main training venue, overlooking Darling Harbour and within 5mins walk of Wynyard Railway Station, we also conduct regional training in Newcastle and Gosford.
A huge range of presenters support the academy to supplement the core knowledge provided by Lisa, this support comes from organisations such as: Pharmaceutical Society, Blackmores, Bioglan, Stiefel Laboritories, Allergan, Wyeth, Pfizer / Warner Lambert, Ansell, 3M, Cecil E. Mayo Health Care, Braun - Oral B, Scholl, Clairol, Nestle, Manicare, Martin and Pleasance - Homeopathic, Sunspirit Aromatherapy, Hamilton Laboratories, Jansen Cilag, Boehringer Ingelheim.
Lisa provides participants not only with the thorough knowledge base required by pharmacy assistants but also a friendly personal approach to education that instils confidence and a personal desire to learn.
