The HLTAID001 Provide CPR unit provides participants with the skills and knowledge to assist in a cardiac arrest where CPR ( Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation ) is required. It covers all aspects of basic resuscitation as well as the use of defibrillators in the public setting.
HLTAID001 Provide CPR is conducted during the morning session of all of our first aid courses. No pre-course work is required.
HLTAID003 Provide First Aid is the standard “first aid” course required within the workplace. It use to be called Senior First Aid or Level 2 First Aid. It includes HLTAID001 Provide CPR and HLTAID002 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support.
If you are in the childcare industry you may prefer to change to the HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting. This extra unit is often required by the childcare industry and saves people in this industry from having to do separate asthma and anaphylaxis courses at extra cost.
The cost of this unit is $120 and includes HLTAID003 Provide First Aid. It does require a small amount of on-line learning / assessment work which can be completed prior to the course.
HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting. This unit is often required by the childcare industry and saves people in this industry from having to do separate asthma and anaphylaxis courses at extra cost. You must be actively working in the childcare industry and have an understanding of legislation covered under ACEQCA
This course also includes the HLTAID003 Provide First Aid unit.
