The “blended” option is just a delivery method – you complete some online pre-course work and then spend roughly 1/2 the time in class. You will still gain the same certification once successfully completed.
Delivered at the Salvation Army Building, the HLTAID009 Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation unit provides participants with the skills and knowledge to assist in a cardiac arrest where CPR ( Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation ) is required. It covers all aspects of basic resuscitation as well as the use of defibrillators in the public setting.

The name of the course changes but the importance of the information contained in the courses hasn’t changed. The HLTAID011 Provide First Aid ( includes HLTAID009 Provide Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation ) unit provides participants with the skills and knowledge to assist in almost any emergency situation involving first aid.

FAQs About Our Courses On The Northern Beaches
Your First Aid certificate does not have an expiration date. However, it is recommended by SafeWork Australia that your First Aid certificate be renewed every 3 years. Depending on the employer and workplace, more frequent renewal of First Aid may be required.
It is recommended that your CPR certificate is renewed every 12 months.
Most of our courses are completed in one day. Our First Aid courses typically run for 7 hours from 9am to 4pm and our CPR courses typically run for 3 hours from 9am to 12pm.
If you are attending a BLENDED format course, after completing the online pre-course module, you’ll only be in class for approx. 1/2 the time
