Knowing the DRSABCD is probably the most important thing you can learn about first aid. First aiders, ambulance officers, paramedics, nurses and emergency room doctors all follow this simple, yet life saving, acronym.

D- Danger

R – Response

S – Send for help

A – Airway

B – Breathing

C – Start CPR if no breathing

D – Defibrillation
